And then I bought this thing from Amazon. It is a “Kinetic Go Green Premium Nano Silver Rectangluar Food Storage Container.”
It claims to have “Micro-particles of antimicrobial silver are infused into the polyproylene to protect the containers against mold, fungus and other microorganisms.”
Whatever. I hope it works. I noticed by spinach going bad (edible but it looks kinda rough, it’s slimy, and smells funky) after about a week and a half and I’d like to stretch that to 2 weeks of spinach freshness.
I’m also using the “Rubbermaid Produce Saver Square Food Storage Containers.” They also claim a “Tray and vent system helps extend the life of produce.”
This is my first time using both. I’ll write later if either works.
You’d be better off using Tupperware.
